It seems i haven't been able to find a time to write since we came back from Croatia.Yes,we finally went back and visit for 3 weeks!!We were planning on going in September, but unfortunately, under very sad circumstances we were forced to leave earlier.I am very sad to notify all of you who haven't heard yet that my Dad has past away on May 17th.We got there just before the funeral on the 22nd.He died in his sleep and person who did autopsy said that it happened quickly and that my Dad didn't feel any pain. The aorta in between neck and heart got clogged.
I have to tell you how glad i am that my Dad visited us here about 2 yrs ago and he spent time with us.He painted our whole house on the outside and i was just amazed. My Dad was type of the person who always thought about everybody else but himself. He was very unselfish, very giving, very friendly to everybody, such a hard worker.I will always be thankful to him for teaching me to have respect for other people and to be friendly. He always was very positive and he liked to make jokes. He loved his family and i enjoyed seeing him get close to my husband. They had fun together.
My Dad liked to draw,be creative with everything. He worked with marble and granite. He loved animals and liked watching wild life documentaries more than anything on tv.He absolutely loved outdoors.
I am sure he loves it where he is right now, because it is a better place.I am so grateful for my knowledge of what happens after this life.I miss my Dad,but i know i will enjoy his company some day
again.

I'm sorry to hear about your dad, Jelena. He sounds like a wonderful person--what a moving tribute. How fortunate you were able to be there for the funeral. I hope you and your family are doing well, especially your mom. Faith can really help us get through times like this.

Jelena, I'm so sorry for your loss. Your dad was a great man, and I have fond memories of the few times we were able to sit down and chat. You seem to have a positive attitude and I'm sure you'll get through this. How is your mom? I hope she'll be able to pull through quickly.
