Anyways, both off us went to this class that was specifically on our Nikon camera model.
It lasted for about 3 hrs.To tell you the truth,i did not have any high expectations of learning a lot,but there was lots of those "ooooohh,ok" moments and i realized i have learned a lot better how to use all the functions on my camera.
Well, since we were already in that area,we decided to have a lunch in Croatian/Bosnian (food is similar in both countries) restaurant. There is 3 of them in SLC,as far as i know, but we found out that one of them closed and the store that was part of it closed as well.Man,i was sad!I love to go there once in a while and get all the stuff that i miss from home.Brett's favorite is KROKI KROKET(puffy snacks that tastes like peanuts).Maybe this doesn't sounds good to you,but Brett absolutely loves it.
My favorite is EUROCREM.This is chocolate spread, kind off like Nutella, but it has white part that's a white chocolate. So yummi!!This is what i would to refuse to stop eating even if i was on a diet!:)
Anyhow,we had lunch at this other place that's called 'Cafe on mein'.No adriatic, baltic, whatever sound to it whatsoever, but they serve the best food and the owners are from Bosnia,i think.Brett and i both had Čevapi.Correct me if i'm wrong ,but no one who had those before said they didn't like it.Those are seasoned beef sausage links served with homemade bread and cut up onions. We also shared burek...[BOOR-ehk]
Though thought of as Turkish, these thin packets of pastry (ranging from PHYLLO to PUFF PASTRY) are found throughout the Middle East. They can contain a variety of fillings, including cheese, spinach or ground meat, and may be baked or fried. Borek are served hot as an HORS D'OEUVRE or with a salad as a main course. So good!!We always promise people we would take them to taste some of the foods i had growing up.If anyone feels like going, let us know,we are always excited to go.
Well, this was probably excitement of the day.We planned that day to go to Park City for Sundance Film Festival, but the wheather was starting to be crazy...wind,snow,rain,all together,so we ended up staying home.Just for the record,I'm so jealous of my friend running into Kevin
